Christ Church Dore

Christ Church Dore was established in 1839 as a chapel of ease within the parish of Sheffield. Located in Dore village on the edge of Sheffield it has a rich history, originally being established to serve the growing population of the Dore area during industrial revolution.

Over the years, Christ Church Dore has played a central role in the local community, serving not only as a place of worship but as a hub for various social and cultural activities. This continues to the present day and as a result of the current reordering project the church members are looking forward to the new opportunities that the modenised layout will offer.
