Monopoly…then and now.

As a child I spent many happy hours with family and friends playing Monopoly. I was curious as to what the places really look like and as an adult I visited and the recreated the images to recreate the feeling these areas evoked in me.

Once upon a time, In a world of square plots,

We rolled the dice, taking chances in lots.

Wooden house, hotel - each one built with care.

A paper money kingdom, floating in the air.

In London’s heart, the places we know,

Mayfair, Old Kent Road, where fortunes grow,

Piccadilly and Fleet, landmarks in the game,

Where we chase wealth, and strive for fame.

Piccadilly Circus
